Black Bean Hummus


Makes 1-1/2 cups
2 cups cooked or canned black turtle or regular black beans
2 Tbsp. liquid reserved from cooking beans or can
2 Tbsp. lemon juice
1 Tbsp. light soy sauce or tamari
1 clove garlic, chopped
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin

pinch cayenne pepper
2 Tbsp. chopped fresh parsley
